(Nathaniel) [1st Century], APOSTLE, is known as Nathaniel in the Bible. When Philip the Apostle brought him to Jesus, Jesus said of him Behold an Israelite in whom there is no evil. He is said to have preached in Asia Minor, India, and Armenia, where he was martyred by being flayed alive and then beheaded. He is the Patron of plasterers. His feast is August 24.
